Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in telemetry nursing or a closely related specialty
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required
• Experience with night shift nursing preferred
• Must successfully complete required orientation assessments during onboarding
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements apply, with approved exemptions only where allowed
• All required credentials must be active and available at submission

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Assess, document, and communicate patient status clearly and accurately
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support safe patient care
• Prioritize care for assigned patients and maintain strong clinical organization throughout the shift
• Support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered acute care environment
