Contract | Full-Time | Mid Shift | Expected 40 hours/week | Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday | Shifts: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM (Monday, Friday) and 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Tuesday, Saturday)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and physician orders
- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure
- Operate MRI equipment and maintain quality control standards for image acquisition
- Screen patients and staff for MRI safety contraindications prior to entering the scan environment
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely imaging results
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI required
- ARRT (MR) certification strongly required or equivalent MRI credentialing
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Active state licensure as required
- Demonstrated experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume or academic medical environment
- Familiarity with a variety of MRI protocols and coil configurations
- Strong patient communication and customer service skills
