Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Postpartum – Seattle, WA 98122

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), traveler's choice of 13 or 26-week assignment. Six weekend days per contract required. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays.

  • Daily census of 45 patients with 57 beds; standard assignment of 4 couplets
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and interpretation services
  • Flexible assignment length and scheduling options to fit your travel preferences
  • First-time travelers accepted with appropriate high-acuity experience
  • Opportunity to work with magnesium sulfate therapy, postpartum hemorrhage management, and substance withdrawal patients

Requirements:

  • Active Washington state RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
  • Minimum 2 years of postpartum nursing experience with high-acuity patients
  • Epic charting system experience required (non-negotiable)
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications
  • Experience with high-risk obstetric care, magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin, postpartum hemorrhage, and substance withdrawal patients
  • Ability to manage census surges with up to 4 couplets
  • Willingness to float to sister campuses for postpartum care and labor and delivery for second-hour recovery
  • Skills in cesarean section care, episiotomy/incision care, fundus/lochia/perineum care, and vaginal delivery support
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
