Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Mother-Baby / Postpartum – Seattle, WA 98122

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts (Day shift, 07:00 - 19:30). 6 weekend days per contract. Assignment length of 13 or 26 weeks available based on traveler preference. Standard patient ratio of 4 couplets.

Highlights:

• Large volume, high census postpartum unit serving a diverse patient population with high-risk obstetric patients
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and interpretation services
• 57-bed unit with daily census of approximately 45 patients providing postpartum treatment following delivery
• Flexible assignment length and scheduling options to accommodate traveler preferences
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate high-acuity experience
• Opportunity to work with advanced patient care technologies and Epic charting system

Requirements:

• Active Washington state RN license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of postpartum nursing experience with high-acuity patient care
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required (non-negotiable)
• Demonstrated experience with high-risk obstetric care, magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin administration, postpartum hemorrhage management, and substance withdrawal patients
• Ability to manage 4 couplets and handle census surges
• Willingness to float to sister campuses for postpartum and labor and delivery recovery coverage
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
