This position offers an opportunity to work in a high-acuity MICU and Stepdown unit, providing critical care to patients with complex medical conditions. WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking dedicated and experienced RNs to deliver exceptional patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and Stepdown Unit (SDU).
Manage patient assignments, primarily in the SDU (3:1 ratio), with occasional ICU coverage.
Float to other units as needed, including PCU and other ICUs.
Monitor and interpret Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias.
Administer and manage continuous IV sedation and central line care.
Implement isolation precautions and use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in a critical care setting.
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Proficiency in arterial line management and care of ventilated patients.
Experience with managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
Willingness to work 3x12 night shifts and every other weekend (EOW).
Flu vaccine required; no exemptions.
