Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry float pool position requiring an active MA RN license and 1-3 years of related experience.

Details

• Float pool position within the Med/Surg/Cardiac unit
• Medical-Surgical Telemetry specialty
• 12-hour rotating day/night shifts with occasional 8-hour shifts (1 week in a 4-week period requires 3-8s and 1-12H shift)
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Weekends and holidays required
• EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• 1-3 years of related Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current CPR certification through AHA
• Current ACLS certification
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate web-based applications
• Teaching hospital and Level I trauma experience preferred

Additional Information

• Float pool role requiring flexibility across Med/Surg/Cardiac units
• Weekly orientation held every Monday (barring holidays)
• Must apply for both temporary and permanent positions simultaneously at time of offer
• COVID vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions accepted)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions accepted)
• Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning
