Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical With Telemetry, Portland. The Registered Nurse delivers coordinated nursing care to individual patients or assigned patient groups using established standards of care and the nursing process. The role also coordinates interdisciplinary care, supervises assigned nursing staff, supports patient education and discharge planning, and exercises professional judgment to promote safe, effective outcomes.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); acute care facility experience.
• Schedule: Day shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Collect and analyze patient data; develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; coordinate care delivery; promote a safe and healing environment; collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers; provide health education; participate in discharge planning; and delegate duties appropriately among healthcare team members.
