The RN will be responsible for managing a patient load with a focus on telemetry and acute care needs, ensuring quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a telemetry unit, handling conditions such as acute medical issues, surgical recovery, and chronic conditions like CHF, CKD, or alcohol withdrawal.
- Required Qualifications: Active RN license, ACLS certification, minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience, at least 2 years of RN experience, flexibility to float to other units including Intermediate Care (IMC) and Emergency Department (ED).
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Must work all holidays with no block schedule requests; orientation is weekly; float to other units within the hospital may be required; experience handling a patient ratio of 6 patients is essential.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates are expected to meet all certification and experience requirements, and be available to start on October 5, 2026.
