Telemetry Medical Surgical Float RN in Lake Havasu City providing comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a community hospital setting. The role involves floating to various units such as IMC and ED, with an emphasis on telemetry and acute care experience.
Job Details
- Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ACLS certification, at least 2 years of recent acute care experience, telemetry experience, ability to handle six patient ratios, RN license; no minimum experience required, must have completed an RN program and hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a preceptor or charge nurse is a plus; travel experience preferred.
- Additional Information: Floating to other units such as Intermediate Care (IMC) and Emergency Department (ED) is an expectation. The unit cares for adult and geriatric patients, including total joint, surgical, and medical patients with conditions like CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, and gastrointestinal bleeding. Candidates should demonstrate a compassionate, positive, and can-do attitude. Scrubs (black top and bottom) are required, with open shoes unacceptable.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be at least 60 miles or more from the facility's location in Lake Havasu City to be considered, with local candidates ineligible.
