Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse position is available in a healthcare facility located in Sioux City. The role involves providing professional and clinical care to post-operative patients requiring overnight stays, with a focus on medical-surgical nursing and telemetry monitoring. The position requires working night shifts and contributing to a multidisciplinary team in a Level 3 Trauma Center.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, starting 10/26/2026 and ending 01/25/2027
• Required Qualifications: Active Iowa or compact nursing license, BLS certification (AHA preferred), NIHSS certification, drivers license, at least 2 years of Med Surg/Tele experience, and a completed supervisory reference form within the last two years
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in general medical/surgical care and telemetry monitoring, familiarity with post-op patient care involving procedures such as prostatectomy, mastectomy, thyroidectomy, and abdominal surgeries
• Additional Requirements: Work history and skills checklist specific to Med Surg/Tele, willingness to float within the same discipline across local campuses, and compliance with the organizations orientation and holiday shift requirements
• Responsibilities: Managing patient care on the general medical and surgical floors, administering heparin via drips, and working within a team to deliver high-quality nursing care
