Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) located in an urban setting, this role involves providing high-quality patient care within a busy, Level 3 Trauma Center environment. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional to join the interdisciplinary team, contributing clinical expertise in managing diverse patient populations with a focus on cardiac, stroke, and general medical cases.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Iowa or Iowa compact nursing license; active BLS (American Heart Association preferred, ARC or US Military certificates accepted); active ACLS (American Heart Association preferred, ARC or US Military certificates accepted); active NIHSS Certification; drivers license; minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience; prior travel work experience; Epic experience; experience with Cardiazem, Nitro, Heparin (titrate); floating may be required within the same discipline across local campuses.

• Additional Information: Must adhere to the local radius rule with all candidates being at least 50 miles from the facility. Candidates will work 2 of 3 winter holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Years Day, with a limit of one day off request within specified periods. The role involves managing types of patients/surgeries such as Cardiac, Stroke, and General Medical, with patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6 for nights. Submission requires a work history with at least 2 years of relevant experience and a Supervisory Reference Form completed within the last two years.
