Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) Nurse in a short-term acute care facility. This role involves floating across various units to meet institutional staffing needs, with responsibilities that may include charge nurse duties on small units. The position demands prior US healthcare experience and flexibility to work critical shifts.
Job Details
- Shift Time: Days, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week, starting on 11/03/2026 and ending on 02/02/2027.
- Required Qualifications: American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS*, BLS, NIHSS* certifications; at least 1 year of relevant US healthcare experience; licensed in a participating state with a valid compact license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse or leadership experience; experience in cardiac telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of dysrhythmias; familiarity with EPIC charting system; experience in a community hospital setting.
- Responsibilities include providing care for adult and geriatric patients, float support to fill staffing needs, and possibly some charge responsibilities on small units with a RN acting as the Charge Nurse.
- Note: Candidates must have US experience, and prior Cardiology step-down experience is ideal but not required.
- Submission Requirements: Submit 2 references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years, and respond to whether you've worked at a Providence facility, including location and dates.
- Additional notes: Must be willing to work 3 out of 5 major holidays and request all schedule or RTO preferences upfront during submission; unwillingness to float may lead to contract termination.
