Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• 2 years of Med/Surg or related clinical experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• BLS and NIHSS required
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Strong telemetry skills, including dysrhythmia recognition
• Experience with IV therapy, wound care, oxygen delivery, and adult med/surg patient management
• Ability to care for adult patients and adapt to floating as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor and assess patients with vascular and other medical-surgical diagnoses
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other ordered treatments
• Support patient recovery through ongoing assessments, documentation, and care coordination
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately using clinical judgment and unit resources
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established unit workflows
