Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical oncology unit.
• Administer medications, including chemotherapy, and manage infusion therapies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and symptom management.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Participate in patient assessments and document care using the Epic charting system.
• Float to other MS/Tele units as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in medical-surgical or oncology settings.
• Active NJ or Compact RN license.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Highly preferred: ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Card.
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
