Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 3rd floor extended recovery unit position requiring recent acute care or ERU experience and NIH certification.

Details

• Medical/Surgical unit, specifically the 3rd floor Extended Recovery Unit (ERU)
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 3 shifts per week
• Shift hours run 7PM-7AM, Monday-Friday
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• AHA ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg, Acute Care, or ERU setting

Additional Information

• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) plus 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in service
• RTO must be requested at time of submission and cannot be requested after an offer is made
