Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN with MS/Tele experience for a night shift hospital position requiring 2 years of experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Medical Surgical unit setting with 1:7 patient ratios
• Night shift, 3x12 or 4x12 hours, 18:30-7:00
• 36/36, 36/48, and 48/48 schedule options available
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required
• Epic charting system preferred

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• AHA BLS required (ACLS preferred), AHA certification is the only accepted form
• 2 years of RN experience required
• MS/Tele experience required
• Skills in IV therapy, phlebotomy, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, and isolation precautions/PPE

Additional Information

• Care for medical-surgical patients including cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, and GI care
• Participation in nursing student support and clinical education alongside direct patient care
• General orientation begins on Sundays with online coursework (CBLs)
• EKG testing via Relias required within 72 hours of signing, with cancellation risk for failure to complete
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed to meet CDC fit testing guidelines
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
