• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Friday and Saturday nights)
• Orientation: 32 hours
• Float Requirement: Floating within the organization may be required

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience in a Progressive Care Unit, stepdown, telemetry, or similar specialty
• Current experience must be recent and consistent within the last 12 months
• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS required
• Strong telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
• Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE
• Experience starting and maintaining IVs and managing peripheral lines
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Comfortable caring for adult and geriatric patient populations

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit and stepdown setting
• Monitor telemetry data and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately
• Support patients requiring insulin drips, oxygen therapy, and other intermediate-care interventions
• Complete ongoing assessments and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with rapid response and code teams when needed
• Maintain safe, effective IV access and peripheral line care
• Float to other units within the organization as assigned
• Follow facility protocols, documentation standards, and patient safety practices
• Deliver compassionate, team-oriented care in a busy clinical environment
