• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940-$2,040
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Weekend Requirement: Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Floating: Required to float to different units as needed
• Schedule Notes: Some weekends and holidays required

Med/Surg Tele RN Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS required
• ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS required
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong skills in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Experience interpreting dysrhythmias and managing common telemetry patients
• Ability to care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required, including one from a manager, director, or supervisor

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform IV starts and maintain peripheral access as needed
• Support care needs such as wound care, respiratory support, and post-procedure recovery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote positive patient outcomes
• Float to other units based on staffing and patient care needs
• Document accurately in Epic and follow unit standards and clinical protocols
• Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient care
