Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position in the healthcare organization. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. The RN is responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, beginning 10/19/2026 and ending 01/16/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice or licensure recognized by the compact. BLS certification is required. No minimum years of experience specified; experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or higher and professional certification related to medical-surgical nursing are preferred.
  • Additional Information: The RN will assess, document, and revise patient care plans; provide direct patient care; delegate and supervise activities of licensed and unlicensed personnel; and participate in quality improvement activities. The role involves interaction with all levels of staff, patients, families, and external contacts. May require float between departments per facility guidelines and adherence to infection control protocols.
