Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) specializes in Diabetes Medical Care Unit (DMCU) a specialized medical-surgical environment. This role involves providing patient-centered care to individuals with diabetes, including insulin drip management, within a trauma level 2, teaching healthcare facility. The position requires floating across units within the medical-surgical division, with weekend and holiday shifts.

Job Details

• Position: RN for Diabetes Medical Care Unit (DMCU)
• Location: (Location not specified; generic healthcare provider environment)
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid Florida license, Compact license preferred; BLS certification; EPIC experience; minimum 2 years of specialty experience; prior travel experience (at least 1 assignment) required; experience with insulin drips is required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Additional Requirements:
  • Floating: Floating to all units within the medical-surgical division may be required.
  • Orientation: Orientation session scheduled every Monday, with EPIC training during second half of day at orientation. Testing out of training is available.
• Responsibilities include providing specialized diabetic care, managing insulin drips, and ensuring comprehensive patient care within the medical-surgical unit.
