Job Summary
Medical Surgical (MS) Nurse for a busy unit in a healthcare provider located in Tallahassee. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a trauma level 2, teaching facility that is a designated Comprehensive Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center. The successful candidate will be adaptable, team-oriented, and experienced in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) with BLS, NIHSS, and Florida (FL) or Compact license; at least 2 years of clinical experience; prior travel experience required.
- Additional Requirements: EPIC training provided during TMH orientation, with testing out options available; float requiredtravelers may float to all units within the medical-surgical division at management's discretion.
- Responsibilities: Provide patient-centered nursing care, work collaboratively with supportive staff, adhere to policies and procedures, and ensure timely documentation.
- Preferred Qualifications: ACLS and NIHSS certifications are preferred.
- Submission Requirements: Applicants must be available to start by 11/09/2026 and commit through 02/06/2027.
