Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), with weekend coverage required (2 shifts per pay period). Patient ratio 1:6. 24-hour orientation provided.

Highlights:

• 91-day travel assignment in a 48-bed Medical/Surgical unit with diverse patient population
• Work with a wide range of patient diagnoses including sepsis, COPD, trauma, cardiac conditions, post-operative care, and more
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system with full electronic medical records
• Float opportunities available based on competencies
• One pre-approved time off period available

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from the location
• Proficiency in Med/Surg skills including IV management, blood product administration, wound care, isolation precautions, and various patient care procedures
