Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Weekend coverage required (2 shifts per pay period, flexible with department needs). Patient ratio 1:6. Float required based on competencies.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a 48-bed medical surgical unit with diverse patient population
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system with 24-36 hours of orientation provided
• Exposure to varied patient diagnoses including sepsis, COPD, trauma, cardiac conditions, post-operative care, and respiratory failure
• Opportunity to utilize advanced skills including PICC line management, wound vac, BiPAP/CPAP, central line care, and blood product administration

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of medical surgical nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from the location
• Ability to work with adult and geriatric patient populations
