Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Acute Ortho Unit position requiring recent specialty experience and NIHSS certification.

Details

• Work in the Acute Ortho Unit of a hospital environment
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Schedule varies between 7am-7:30pm
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty required

Additional Information

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Returning perm staff must take a 2 year break before returning as a non-local traveler
• Holiday coverage required for 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after offer acceptance
