Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for an Acute Neuro Unit role requiring recent neuro experience and NIH Stroke Scale certification.

Details

• Work in the Acute Neuro Unit of a hospital setting
• Staff 7 additional overflow beds within the Neuro Unit
• 12-hour day shifts with a schedule that varies between 7A-7P
• 3 shifts per week for a 13-week assignment
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA state or compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Med/Surg specialty required
• Recent and relevant Neuro unit experience required

Additional Information

• Provide Med/Surg nursing care within an Acute Neuro Unit
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have taken a 2-year break from employment at the facility
• Request time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront prior to receiving an offer, as it cannot be requested afterward
