Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in a neuro/stroke specialty setting. This role involves providing direct patient care to adult patients, implementing and monitoring care plans, coordinating discharge needs, and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. The nurse will work night shifts within a 12-hour schedule at the healthcare facility.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience; valid Nursys license; professional certification and verified profile; completion of ascension skills checklist and professional references; and current NIH (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neuro/stroke or telemetry units is advantageous.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: This department is a 28-bed unit serving adult neuro/stroke patients with telemetry capability, supported by patient care technicians and a healthcare unit coordinator. Virtual sitter and monitor tech support are available to assist with patient monitoring.
