Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Tulsa, OK 74104

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (06:45 - 19:15), 36 hours per week. Patient ratio 1:5-6. Weekend coverage required.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment on a 24-bed renal medical-surgical unit
• First-time travelers welcome with comprehensive 36-hour orientation
• Work with diverse patient populations including ESRD, urology, AKI, and diabetic complications
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic documentation system utilized throughout the facility
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract

Requirements:

• Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:6 or similar
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Skills in isolation precautions/PPE, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Must reside outside 75-mile radius from the facility
