Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), with 2 weekend shifts per pay period. Patient ratio of 1:6. Float required as long as competencies are met.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment with 24-36 hours of orientation
• Work with diverse patient populations including adults and geriatrics in a 48-bed unit
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system experience required
• Manage a wide variety of patient diagnoses including sepsis, COPD, trauma, cardiac conditions, post-operative care, and more
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license must be in hand at time of application)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Must reside outside of 50-mile radius from the location
• Proficiency in skills including IV management, blood product administration, central line care, wound care, tracheostomy management, and isolation precautions
