Job Summary
Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse (MS ONC) Atlanta, GA. This position involves providing specialized care to oncology patients within a community hospital setting. The role requires hands-on clinical expertise, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with healthcare teams to deliver quality patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Certification: BLS, NIHSS; EPIC experience required; strong Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Chemotherapy (Chemo) certification may be preferred.
- Education/Experience: 2 years of experience in medical surgical oncology; GA or compact license in hand; 18 months recent experience in specialty within past 3 years.
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Position Type: 13-week assignment starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/03/2027.
- Responsibilities include providing patient-centered oncology care, following safety protocols, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Submission Process: Virtual interview required; all candidates are screened by nurse manager.
- Additional Information: No float rotation required.
