ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our fast-paced Intensive Care Unit. The unit is equipped with 30 beds and specializes in the care of critically ill patients experiencing a range of conditions, including:

Sepsis
Heart failure
Hypertensive emergency
Respiratory failure
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
Chronic kidney disease
Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM)
Alcohol use/abuse
Substance abuse
Status epilepticus
Encephalopathy

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute care setting
Experience with ventilators and continuous dialysis preferred
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Strong ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients
Monitor and assess patient conditions and responses to treatments
Administer medications and interventions as prescribed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Provide education and support to patients and their families
