- Only candidates interested in converting to a permanent staff position will be considered
- Pay rate as a full-time CMA is approximately $21–$22/hour
Location
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
- Candidates must be able to work either schedule based on practice needs
Practice Overview
Responsibilities & Skills
- Rooming patients
- Taking vitals
- Chart preparation
- Point-of-care testing (POCT) including urine, Flu/Strep, blood glucose, and similar tests
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of CMA experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- EPIC experience is a plus for this practice
Interview Details
- Virtual, on-camera interview via Microsoft Teams
Training
- 4-hour EMR training held on a Wednesday from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (includes a 1-hour break)
Compliance Requirements
- Compliance documentation is due the Wednesday before the start date
- Candidates should be ready to begin the compliance process immediately upon accepting the award
- Medicals and drug screens must be started within 72 hours of accepting the award
- Candidates who do not start this requirement within 72 hours are at risk of the contract being cancelled
