Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring an Illinois RN license and at least three years of relevant nursing experience.
Details
- Med/Surg unit (7C Med Resp) in a hospital setting
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three days per week
- 36 hours per week
- Rotating weekend and holiday shifts required
- May float to other Carle Health facilities including Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Pekin Hospital, and Proctor Hospital
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license in good standing required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care
- Report and correct safety hazards and incidents as part of patient and employee safety responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the position
- RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
- Contingent workers may not remain on assignment at Carle Health for more than 1 year without conversion or a 6-month break in service
