Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift float pool position requiring an active MA RN license and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Nursing Float Pool unit within a hospital setting
• Medical-Surgical Telemetry patient population
• 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Floating required, including to an affiliated hospital as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a day-one pass/fail competency test upon arrival at orientation (one attempt)
• Must complete Relias testing during onboarding to prepare for onsite testing

Additional Information

• Provide medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care within a float pool role
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted for this role
• Returning employees must observe a 6-month break between assignments at any facility within the health system
• Required vaccinations include COVID-19 (plus booster) and flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• No more than 3 days of requested time off during the assignment
• No prior employment separation from the health system required to apply
