Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital assignment requiring an active OH or compact RN license and prior telemetry experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 18-week assignment length with 13-20 week contract options available

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (NIHSS preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients including monitoring and clinical interventions
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Travelers may only be considered for one position at a time within the Cleveland Clinic Health System
• All requested time off must be discussed during the interview process and finalized prior to assignment start
• Travelers are expected to work every other holiday
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with up to 2 attempts to pass
• Assignments may be extended up to 18 months, after which a 6-month break is typically required
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
