Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring 1 year of specialty experience and an Ohio or compact RN license in hand.

Details

  • Med/Surg Tele unit in a hospital setting
  • 13-week assignment on night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Must work at least every other holiday
  • Locals accepted at the same rate

Requirements

  • Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross) required and active at time of consideration
  • Minimum 1 year of combined permanent Med/Surg Tele experience required
  • Recent Epic charting experience (within the last 6 months) required
  • One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required; coworker references not accepted
  • No open background check cases or license hits accepted

Additional Information

  • ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation; acceptable scores required for compliance
  • COVID-19 and flu vaccines required with medical or religious exemptions only
  • Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
