Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• At least 2 years of recent ICU or acute care experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Comfort working in a high-acuity environment with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Ability to support a variety of cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and trauma-related conditions
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and skilled bedside care for critically ill patients
• Monitor and manage complex patient conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, sepsis, stroke, COPD exacerbation, and acute respiratory failure
• Care for post-operative and specialty cardiac patients, including CABG and valve repair/replacement cases
• Support patients requiring advanced therapies such as CRRT
• Respond effectively to changing patient conditions and collaborate with the care team
• Float to the Intermediate Care Unit or ED holding area when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
• Deliver high-quality patient care while contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment
