Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute care or critical care nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current RN license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH certification or equivalent stroke scale competency
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Comfort working with Medhost and Baxter pumps preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a blended ICU/CVICU environment
• Monitor and manage patients with complex cardiac and critical care needs
• Care for patients with diagnoses such as STEMI, NSTEMI, sepsis, COPD exacerbation, stroke, trauma, and respiratory failure
• Support patients recovering from CABG, valve repair/replacement, TCAR, and TVAR procedures
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Float to Intermediate Care or ED Holding when needed based on patient volume and staffing needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and deliver safe, compassionate patient care throughout each shift
