Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care or critical care nursing
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiac and critical care needs
• Ability to float as needed to Intermediate Care Unit and ED holding for admitted patients
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a blended ICU/CVICU environment
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in condition for critically ill cardiac and medical patients
• Support care for diagnoses including STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, atrial fibrillation with RVR, stroke, trauma, overdose, and more
• Assist with specialized critical care needs, including CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR patients
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, patient-centered care
• Float to related units as needed to meet patient care demands
• Maintain accurate documentation in the facility EHR and follow established clinical protocols
