We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical-Telemetry team on 2 West. This is a travel nursing position offering a guaranteed 48 hours per week with a start date of December 14th.

- Day Shift: 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), 5-6 RNs, 3 CNAs
- Night Shift: 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), 5-6 RNs, 3 CNAs
- Patient Ratios: 1:5-6
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech
Required Qualifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
Typical Procedures and Equipment
- Typical Procedures:
- General Surgery
- Echo, EKG, Colonoscopy, TEE, EEG
- Wound Vac management
- Equipment Used:
- Welch-Allen Vital Sign Machines
- Glucometers
- Polar Ice units
- Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
Work Environment
- Open to block scheduling for travelers
- Orientation on unit policies and procedures provided
- Opportunities for resourcing, precepting, and student mentorship
- Collaborative care environment with case management and rehabilitation services on the same floor
- Daily multidisciplinary rounds to coordinate patient care
