Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in MedSurg and Telemetry. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to MedSurg and Telemetry patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, updating care plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings and contribute to care strategies.

Shift Details

• Work schedule consists of three or four 12-hour shifts, with evening hours from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Every other weekend and every other holiday availability required.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from ARC or AHA is required.
• Telemetry experience is mandatory.
• Meditech experience is preferred.
• Willingness to float to similar units as needed.

Additional Information

A telemetry test will be administered on the first day of orientation. Candidates with travel experience are encouraged to apply.
