Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a Surgical/Urology/Thoracic unit requiring telemetry and dysrhythmia management experience.

Details

• Work on a Surgical/Urology/Thoracic unit providing pre and post-surgical bedside care
• Two levels of care provided: adult inpatient acute and telemetry with continuous vital sign monitoring
• Night shift schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (MD state or compact) currently in hand
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years current nursing experience required
• Dysrhythmia management experience required
• Telemetry experience required, including work on a unit with pre and post-surgical patients
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 1-2 prior travel assignments preferred
• Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required

Additional Information

• Provide pre and post-operative bedside surgical care to adult inpatients
• Orientation occurs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Strong candidates preferred given the facility's academic teaching hospital environment
