Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Adult Medical Oncology unit position requiring oncology experience and a MD or compact RN license.

Details

• Adult Medical Oncology unit within a hospital setting
• 18-bed unit caring for solid tumor patients
• Acute care, Med Surg Telemetry patient population
• Day shift 12-hour schedule, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Alaris pump experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years current nursing experience required
• Oncology experience required
• 1-2 prior travel assignments required
• Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to solid tumor and medical oncology patients
• Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
• Strong candidates preferred given the acuity and complexity of the main hospital setting
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
