Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in a hospital's Nursing Float Pool, requiring active MA licensure and strong telemetry experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Nursing Float Pool position
- RN will float across multiple units, requiring strong telemetry skills
- 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Nights), 36 hours per week
- Shift hours are 08:00 AM to 08:30 PM
- Weekly orientations are provided for float pool staff
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand
- 2+ years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
- Strong telemetry experience required due to float pool responsibilities
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
Additional Information
- Float pool RN will be utilized across multiple hospital units based on need
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Local candidates are not accepted for this position
- Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
- No RTO will be approved during this assignment
- No separation period required for current or former BILH travelers when submitting to open orders
