Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location preferred
• 2 years of travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, including reading telemetry strips and measuring intervals
• Experience managing cardiac drips in a telemetry or progressive care setting
• TR Band experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and comfort floating between multiple hospital units

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled Registered Nurse care across multiple med-surg telemetry units
• Perform cardiac monitoring and interpret telemetry strips every 4 hours
• Manage patients receiving cardiac drips and other telemetry-focused care
• Support care for ED border patients, acute mental health medication support, and transfer-ready ICU patients
• Float between designated hospital units as needed to meet patient care needs
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
• Deliver safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care in a high-acuity acute care environment
