Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 2+ years of strong cardiac background
• 2 years working as a traveler
• Strong cardiac background with the ability to accurately interpret telemetry strips
• Experience managing cardiac drips in an acute care setting
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced telemetry unit with high patient acuity

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care for telemetry and medical cardiology patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips accurately and promptly
• Administer and manage cardiac drips as ordered
• Care for post-cardiac procedure patients, including post-cath, PCI, ICD, PPM, and ablation cases
• Support patients requiring TR band and femoral approach recovery care
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Maintain clear documentation and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
