Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent Med/Surg Tele nursing experience required
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to start
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
• Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• Must meet all compliance and onboarding requirements prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and identify changes that require prompt intervention
• Administer medications and treatments safely, accurately, and on schedule
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient progress
• Perform thorough assessments, document findings, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced acute care setting
