Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | No call requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Comprehensive Medical Unit serving a diverse medical-surgical population
• Float as needed between various Med-Surg units including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarder areas
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings; telemetry competency will be assessed on day one
• Document and manage patient care using Epic EMR with proficiency
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of Ohio or compact equivalent
• Active BLS certification required
• Current Epic EMR proficiency required — must be independently proficient prior to start; no refresher training or on-site orientation support will be provided
• Minimum 3 years of current and recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience required
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret telemetry independently

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working across multiple Med-Surg subspecialty units (Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation)
• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care setting
