Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care primarily on a Cardiac/Telemetry unit with occasional floating to various Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarder areas
• Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry readings; competency in telemetry reading will be assessed on the first day of assignment
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care across multiple unit environments
• No on-call requirement

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Active BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
• Demonstrated Epic EMR proficiency required — must be documented at time of submission; on-site training or 1:1 orientation for Epic is not available
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips; competency will be formally evaluated on day one

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple Med-Surg specialty units (e.g., Oncology, Stroke, Respiratory, Wound Care)
• Familiarity with ED boarder and observation patient populations
