Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment at a Level III Trauma Center, requiring a TN or compact RN license and 1+ years of MS/Tele experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a 167-bed Level III Trauma Center
• Serves all patient age groups
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• Call required as needed
• Floating possible to similar med/surg units as needed
• Uses Meditech EHR and Omnicell for medication dispensing

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• MS/Tele experience and IV insertion skills required
• TN Abuse Registry clearance required prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to a diverse med/surg patient population requiring telemetry monitoring
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Scrubs of any color accepted; casual attire not permitted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
• First-time travelers may be considered
