Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position requiring an active MA RN license and 1-3 years of related experience.

Details

• Float pool position covering Med/Surg/Cardiac units
• 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, 36 hours per week
• One week in every four-week period requires working three 8-hour shifts plus one 12-hour shift
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• 1-3 years of related Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• CPR certification through AHA required
• ACLS certification required
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate web-based applications required
• Teaching hospital and specialty area experience preferred
• Level I trauma experience highly preferred

Additional Information

• Must complete Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
• COVID vaccine (plus booster) and flu vaccine required, medical exemptions accepted
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, local candidates not accepted
• Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning
• Weekly orientation held every Monday (barring holidays)
